Zondera Simpson

Nurse Practitioner

Zondera Simpson is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who joined Fibroid and Pelvic Wellness Center in 2022. Her academic career started with her attending Southeastern Technical College where she received her Diploma in Practical Nursing in 2002. She later attended Gordon State College where she received an Associate of Science in Nursing and Grand Canyon University where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her graduate degree was completed at the University of North Georgia where she received a master’s degree in nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner.

While attending the University of North Georgia, Zondera completed an on-site clinical rotation in primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health. She diagnosed and treated patients under the guidance of experienced physicians and nurse practitioners who are experts in their fields. The experience during her clinical rotation in women’s health reinforced Zondera’s decision to apply her knowledge and nursing skills to managing the healthcare of women.

Zondera specializes in well-woman exams, appropriate specialty referrals, contraception, and urgent gynecological matters consisting of urinary tract infections, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, and STD diagnosis and treatment.

Zondera is not just a nurse practitioner who has enjoyed a 20-year nursing career that has allowed her to provide care in multiple specialties, she is also a wife, mother of four, and grandmother of three. She likes to spend her days off caring for her grandchildren and educating her family and friends on the importance of preventative care, diet and exercise to maintain good health. Vacation time is spent traveling with her husband to different countries to try new foods and the culture of the country.
